Just as the chlorine evolution electrode,
the oxygen evolution DSA is made up of
Ti substrate and the multi-metal and (or)
metal oxide electrochemically active layer
coated on it. The major difference between
them is that the service life of the later is
extensively longer than that of the former
under oxygen evolution condition. comp-
aring with the traditional Pb(or Pb alloy)
and high-silicon cast iron, this kind of ele-
ctrode has not only very low oxygen evo-
lution overpotential, which will considera-
bly reduce the energy consumption , but
also dimensionally stable in operation.
1.features of the products
a.industrial pure Ti is used as the
substrate which can be precisely
machined into any shape and size
required and remains dimensionally
stable in operation which guarantees
the electrolyzer working stably under
a constant voltage and the high purity
of products.
b.comparing with the traditional anodes,
it has low O2 evolution overpotential
which considerably reduces the energy
consumption and has long life.
c.the active-lost coating can be recoated,
so the substrate can be reused.
d.all the electrodes of Whizzo Co. are
designed specially for the practical op-
erating conditions which ensures them
to work at optimum state in whatever
media or applications.
